Running Accomplishments:

when i was in high school i ran a 4:59 mile and got 2nd at nationals.

that was when i was 18, but i'm now 52 and just started running again so i'll fill this of more times later.

Short-Term Running Goals:

i hope to finish a 400meter in less than 2 minute.

I want to get my mile under 12min  

Long-Term Running Goals:

lose enough weight to be as light as i was senior year in high school (103)

Personal:

well something interesting about me is that 3 years ago i went on the Biggest Loser show...but that didn't go well. i gained 60 pounds. but on the plus side the show told me that i was the first one to gain weight on the show and gave me a $5 dollar coupon to Mcdonalds....my favorite :)

My starting weight was 365 pounds. After training this past bit, (with my trainer Philander) I am now 280 pounds! also i'm 5"6'. i know i have a long way to go but i think i can do it! please comment on my runs to help motivate me! Please comment.  Cause you know what they say, when people get comments, they lose weight! hahahhahahah i love that quote...but seriouly. comment

well i didn't find a race, but i didn't look very hard. i just thought it'd be easier to make my own and it was. but i did have to run the whole thing by myself becuase its my trainers day off and everyone in my group had to walk their dog...or so they told me.

so i marked the course with my cones and put a bottle of water ever 200 meters (just in case) and ordered porta potty's to be put at miles 3 and 5. i warmed up half a mile and dramaticly started the race. first half mile i was going 8 min pace (way to fast!) but i was hyped up from the thought of this being my first race so i just started flying. by mile one my time was 10:20 and i still felt good. by now i had only drank 4 of the bottles so i started to feel dehydrated, which i guess helped me go faster because i wanted to get to each bottle faster.

second mile was still good and under pace and i hit it at 10:28. the third mile was down hill and i skipped all the water bottles here because i knew i had to keep my momentum. once i hit the bottom i could feel the hurt in my legs and i really doubted whether i could do this or not. after a mental battle i decided and forge onward and i even skipped the first porta potty thinking i could hold it in the rest of the race. third time was 10:24. i was way ahead of pace. but then the 4 mile happened...

you're probably wondering why i named this race 'Peeping loop of Apples and dog' well this is why. during the 4th mile, i pass my neighbor Sebastian, and he saw me running by and jumps out of his house and sicks his dog on me (i think he doesn't like me because i accidently ran over his mom) so i see his dog taking off towards me and so i start sprinting because thats the first thing that came into my mind to do! after about 10 ft the dog was about to leap into my face for the strike and all of a sudden i ran into a tree causing an apple to fall and knock out the dog! so i threw the dog up the tree so Sebastian couldn't get him (he broke both his legs playing basketball) and continued with my race.

so after all this happened i remembered i was in a race and looked at my watch and realized how far my pace fell off since i took the time to throw the dog up the tree (it took a couple tries) and this caused me to hit a 11:46:( bad.

i only had roughly 16 minutes and 30 seconds left to get my goal. luckily the next mile was down hill as well, and i really really just started to focus. i wanted to get under 1 hour so bad! 5th mile i'm proud to say was 8:44. but i couldn't hold in the water anymore! so i made a pit stop in the porta potty (15 seconds) and took off again.

well i was pretty tired after that last mile, but i really wanted to be done. also as i was running, i could see people in their house peeping out their window staring at me. i was so mad and self conscious so i went faster and right at mile 6 i hit 1 hour! 8:58. since i knew i wouldn't hit it i just sprinted it in sobbing getting a 48sec for the lst .214

well i didn't get my goal but i know i'm getting there. sorry it took so long for me to blog, i'm apply for a job at places and that has been taking up a lot of my time. I might take a couple days of running off because this really put a toll on my legs but i'll be back at it soon! ...plus my face kind of hurts from hitting that tree.
