when i was in high school i ran a 4:59 mile and got 2nd at nationals.

that was when i was 18, but i'm now 52 and just started running again so i'll fill this of more times later.

Short-Term Running Goals:

i hope to finish a 400meter in less than 2 minute.

I want to get my mile under 12min  

Long-Term Running Goals:

lose enough weight to be as light as i was senior year in high school (103)

Personal:

well something interesting about me is that 3 years ago i went on the Biggest Loser show...but that didn't go well. i gained 60 pounds. but on the plus side the show told me that i was the first one to gain weight on the show and gave me a $5 dollar coupon to Mcdonalds....my favorite :)

My starting weight was 365 pounds. After training this past bit, (with my trainer Philander) I am now 280 pounds! also i'm 5"6'. i know i have a long way to go but i think i can do it! please comment on my runs to help motivate me! Please comment.  Cause you know what they say, when people get comments, they lose weight! hahahhahahah i love that quote...but seriouly. comment

I feel pretty proud of myself today! i ran the farthest i've ran in 6 years! i started off the track at a good pace and continued moving at a strong pace. my breathing started to get heavy and i wasn't sure if i was going to make it but i kept pushing! soon i rounded the first hundred meters and my time was 1:05, i was exactly on pace to break 2 minutes. on this staight away i pushed my turn over faster cause these are my stronger points of the lap, but i just could breathe anymore, so i grabbed my inhaler out of my side pocket on my shoe and took it which helped A TON!!!!!

 soon i was half way finished but my time was a sad 2:15 :( i was only half way done and my time was already out of reach... i think i was because of the 5 seconds i took taking the inhaler...bummer. but i could still get a PR which is under 15 minutes.

third hundred meter split was a bit fast seeing how my time was 2:59... it might have been because i cut a big through the field but no one was looking so i dont think i matters. anyway, this last hundred meters i knew would be the hardest, but i'm known for my kick and so i thought i could break 3 minutes and for me, that is incredible! half way through i couldn't breathe again but i knew i couldn't stop for the inhaler so i kept pushing... then all of a sudden 20 cows blocked my way to the finished but luckly i was running with a shotgun on my back so i shot them all off in about 10 minutes, then finally continued my run until i cross the finish line with a new PR of 14:39.34!

i'm kind of sad that those cows got in the way of breaking 3 minutes but you know how it is living in iceland. and you know what i always say "you can't beat a dog to a cat's belly" hahahahahahhhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha....oh man i love that quote.

well since i did this distance all at once i'll just take an easy the rest of the week and just limit my walking to the fridge and couch. i'm glad to get this in though and with a new PR! life is so good. and you know what the french say about cheese, "if you cant beat em', eat em'" hahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahaha...ooh my poor husband....he should've let me beat em'.... anyway, i'll type again tomorrow. bye!

well today was a big recover day from yesterday. i was sooo sore, i could barely move my arms to eat my life cereal with strawberry jam (its really good, you should try it!) but my garmin said i have moved .1 miles today, i know its not much but its good after yesterdays run. for dinner i had a healthy dinner of steak and milk (i had quite a surplus of steak because of yesterday's experience :) ...anyway, not much more to say, 21 hours of sleep is a lot, but it was amazing! but you know what they say "the more you sleep, the better you get at stocking male elephants" hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... ooh man! i love that quote...anyway, bye!

well last night was horrible. i didn't get a wink of sleep! so after 5 minutes of not being able to sleep i go up and ordered Mcdonalds: 6 big mac's, 4 large fries and 2 large dr. peppers. i know i shouldn't have, but i just couldn't help myself, i just kept eating and eating...even after i downed all the Mcdonalds i went to my fridge and had another 2 steaks. so i gained 15 pounds so my run the other day pretty much did nothing. oh well. i got to sleep at 6am and slept till 4pm so i got my sleep in. afterward i went and visited my husbands grave.

after yesterday i finally got enough spunk to hirer a trainer that would stay by me every second to help me be strong. first day i lost 7 pounds!! i'm excited. i think this will work out qutie nicely. only think is i have to feel him the rest of the steak i have, but thats alright. he got me to do some core stuff and run 1/4 of a mile. i like him alot. he's a nice guy. i'm really excited!

hello readers :) thank you for commenting and helping me feel happy. i know i haven't blogged in a week and a half but i have just been soo busy! first of all, remember that trainer i told you about last time? well he has helped me lose 45 pounds! and he's positive that i will be down to 150 by the end of the year. isn't that AMAZING! but! you may ask...what is my motive to staying on this intense diet? well i'll tell you... Philander, my trainer, told me that if i got down below 200 pounds then he would begin dating me! he said that was i quite a lovely lady with lots of steak.

anyway, with all the excersises and weight i've lost, i went on a run today and i did 3 miles. and it felt so much easier. it only took me less than an hour which is a huge PR. i also went on a 3 minute swim and 6 minute bike ride. life is really looking up to me and i'm pretty sure it was because i joined this blog. ever sense i created an account here i've had such good luck. anyway, bye! i'm going to train with Philander (which is a greek name that means lover of mankind) (ha which reminds me, when i first met him, he thought i was a man hahahahhaahahahahahah.... so i shaved my beard and he realized i was a women.. it was so funny)

nice easy 2 after doing 5 hours of P90X. i'm dead! after the run i just dropped on the ground and was out for 6 hours! when i woke up my hippo was laying on my legs (: it was so cute. i didn't see Philander today which was a bummer, but he promised to partner strech me and give me a deep tissue massage tomorrow which will help me to continue to do the work i'm doing. I'm so buff and tone right now. i know because people dont stare at me as much as they used to. anyway bye!

Well today I'm pretty proud of myself.  Considering I ran 4 miles within 6 hours!  New record baby!  ..but I think the snow storm slowed me down.  It was the craziest thing, it just came out of nowhere!...like a baby!  POW!  So I had to find shelter at a friendly man's house.  He offered me some food so of course I took that!  You know what they say, 'take strangers food when you can'.  Hahahahaha, I love that quote!  He also offered me a massage but that reminded of cheese sticks which reminded me of my hairy knees which reminded me of rusty spoons which reminded me of Philander.  Oh how I miss him!  This thought pushed me to go back into the snow and finish my run.  But it started hailing out of nowhere...like my mom! ..she's so beautiful!  So then I got hungry again and I had no options but to eat my big toe.  It tasted like a hot dog.  And you know what they say 'when you're hungry and running in a hailstorm with no food, eat the closest thing to a hot dog!' Hahahaha, oh I love that quote too!  ...But that big toe costed me 2000 calories...it was one fat toe.  I eventually got back and now I'm waiting for Philander to call!  well bye now!

Today Philander went on a run with me!!! But before the run he gave me a prostetic toe that he carved out of wood just for me!! What a sweet man. you know what they say if a man carves you a toe he has a sweet tooth. . . which means he must love ice cream. which means now when can run to get ice cream. . .but then that will mean i will gain weight . .. oh no i'm stuck between two things i love what should i do???? please help me!

Well if he really loves you then he will understand and try to make you happy any way possible, which means he would get you ice cream. :) Its all about if he really loves you or not, remember communication is key in any relationship. Hope everything goes well!

okay so sorry its taken me so long to write but i just couldn't decide on what i wanted to choose!!! I'm still a little unsure on my decision but i want to lose the weight more than ice cream because that will be so much better for me in the long point of view. so I'm making a goal of running everyday and look! I'm almost below 300!

things are pretty chopped up between philander and I. last night while we were doing P90X, he was smoking (which is the only thing i hate about him) and he saw an old man picking his nose out the window and started laughing, causing his ciggerate to fall out of his mouth and fall on my wooden toe which then caught on fire and burned before he could get it out....so that laid me back these past couple weeks. but now i'm back on track and doing well. he made a metal one for me that even puts a little spring in my step.and you know what they say when you have a spring in your step, "When you have a spring in your step, don't let it back talk your hand into slapping the person butt next to you"

anyway, my run was pretty fun, i went around the duck pound and up the river. i had to stop 5 times so that wasn't good. And guess what i had for dinner tonight! Duck :) and i invited my nieghbor (the old man i talked about earlier) and we had a nice chat about his back hair.

oh my word i'm sososos sorry i haven't written in a very long time im just so lazy!! well i've been doing pretty good lost some weight as you can say with the help of a very charming man but any ways... for halloween philander locked me up so i couldn't eat ANY candy!! i was so mad by the end of the night i went crazy and bit the chains off of me but it was too late cause he burned all the candy. i was so angry with him i need to cool off so i went and jumped in the snow....i eventually forgave him....any ways for thanksgiving yesterday philander went to spend it with his family so i got to eat ALL the food i wanted but i regretted it after.... i gained 20pounds so i decided for my workout today i would go shopping cause its black friday at midnight and at 6am ....wahoo you know what they say about that if you can't loose any weight then go shopping... i was like a crazy lady out there this young girl stole the baby food i wanted so i ran and bit her arm.... good thing no one caught me! but then i lost the 20lbs off good thing of philander would have killed me! you know what they say if you are in trouble just eat through your problems .... hahahahahahaha oh thats on my fav five list  ... just sayin.......

two days in a row! ...i know i'm great. So i was reading through some of my blogger friends like Stoner, miasain, megan finch, Jessica peterson, Michael finch (he's so HOT), casey kimzey (~ok), David Holt (ack! how ugly can a man be!) and saw how Coach holt (david holt (you know the ugly one)) had commented on all of them to bring their spikes for a time trial tomorrow. so i got all excited cause i thought he'd invite me since i've been doing so well. so i went to my blog...and no one had commented. so i went and ran 5 miles cause i was soo soso so soosososos mad!

i told philander about my problems today. my brother died today too because he drowned eating the steak i sent him...(I have no idea) and he just told me to keep at my weight and remember what we could have together if i got skinny. he had me do a cool workout today. it was 4 sets of 10 push-ups, 30 pull ups, 30 crunches, 30second of planks, then 30 more push ups.

first set i did pretty well, although i only did 4 pull ups. next two sets were the same story. then i just stopped because i just couldn't do anymore. He was proud of me though and said i would make it someday. anyway, once i break 200 by the end of the year i will be so close to my high school weight. i really can't wait to be skinny.

anyway, i thought i'd tell you a random story about last night. after me and philander went bowling, he took me home. and when he was walking me to the door, i tried to kiss him (cause you know, i have like him for 1 month now and you know what they say when you like someone for a month you have to get it over with (hahahahahahaha i live by that saying!)) but he pulled away and acted like i had punched him. he then ran to his car screaming like a girl and drove away. i just dont know what i did wrong...what should i do? he seemed fine today during the workout, but we didn't even talk about it. i'm scared.

today Philander had me do a long run. IT WAS TOUGH!!!!!! 7 %#$@ miles.and you know what he did to support me? He rode his bike next to me. He didn't even run with me. But he was singing Christmas songs the whole time and he has an AMAZING voice. that helped a ton. anyway when i got home i took a 20 minute nap while he made lunch. We finished up the last of the steak. it was good. he told me that he would spend christmas with me and probably get my weight down to 200 by the end of the year! not much more to say but this was a pretty dang good run to finish.

felt junky today. i ate some bad food yesterday. i think it was expired. my neighbor gave it to me but she's blind. i said thank you, but after i got sick from it i went to her house egged her bed and set up traps all over her house...I'll teach her to give me expired food ever again!

Great run today. I'm really starting to build up my milage. this week alone i got 30! I've lost 30 pounds this past 3 weeks too. I remember my last post i was so mad at philander for making me run 7. But now i'm used to it. i only stopped 3 times..and twice was for the bathroom (I ate a lot of chilly last night) so i really only count one of my stops.

anyway, i went around my loop past wendy's and towards carl's juniors, then curved back to my house...haha i only know places by the fast food resturants they are by (:

after the run, Philander partner stretched me and we did a little yoga. then i had a healthy lunch of chicken salad and some orange juice. It was a nice day. When me and Philander were playing the game of life he held my hand :) it was so romantic. but then he moved it and told me to stop sitting on his foot because it was going numb. I dont know why he's such a baby! i mean, you know what they say, when a girl makes you foot numb, she has the lovesees for you hahahaha.....oh man, i wish Philander believed in that quote..because then i might not have to lead him on so much. anyway, i'm so excited for this christmas! i really think i can make 199 by the end of the year!
